ATC’s vocation skills training program is an “experiential” process where the intern is dedicated to serving not only his or her interest, but the best interest of their peers as well. Internship Programs For Young Adults From Florida

At The Crossroads, we know that our students must have confidence restored. We have seen that in order for struggling young men and women from Florida to emerge from their present existence, they must be empowered and built up. One of the primary objectives of our staff is to instill a feeling within our residents that they "have what it takes." At the same time, in order for struggling young adults to actually succeed on a more permanent level, the student must do the work for themselves. This understanding of what causes young adults to experience “failure to launch” is what sets ATC apart from other internship programs and employment training for young adults.

A core element of our “Pathways” curriculum requires a commitment of t least nine months in order to fully complete. A primary Life Coach/Mentor will be assigned to each student upon enrolling in the ATC program. This professional will be responsible for the monitoring each resident as the student progresses through the pathways program. The Program Director of ATC will serve as a liaison between the student's families and the staff members. The director will provide residents with suitable opportunities for the development of their training, their daily living skills, their personal growth, and overall success in the ATC program.

When it comes to cell phones, parents should help protect their teens by establishing a few general rules, such as never write or forward a photo, or text, that you would not want forwarded to everyone in your school.
