Employment Training Programs for Young Adults Missouri MO

At The Crossroads (ATC) is an employment training program for both men and women, ages 18-26. ATC’s complete, in-depth occupational skills training program prepares young men and women from Missouri to make important life decisions that are proactive and potent. We know from experience that when this occurs, the resident will then advance into adulthood with extremely solid groundwork and focused purpose. The students will live in an organized, therapeutic atmosphere that is deliberate for vocational training and internship. The model here at ATC combines clinical treatment, vocational preparation, emotional growth, recovery, and life skills development. The staff here At The Crossroads does these clinical models in a sympathetic and compassionate environment that encourages self-discovery and independence. Here at ATC, we offer the foremost employment training programs for struggling young adults from Missouri. Direction from our professionally trained educators, substance abuse treatment counselors, life coaches, and licensed therapists, our students will gain the practical life skills necessary to succeed.

Vocation Training For Young Adults from Missouri

Parents of young men and women that are in need of “hands-on” work training should know that ATC has a branded therapy organization called the “Pathways model.” The Pathways model, here At The Crossroads, is a young adult internship program based on peer support and professional life coaching. ATC’s vocation skills training program is an “experiential” process where the intern is dedicated to serving not only his or her interest, but the best interest of their peers as well. Your loved one will learn to take personal responsibility for the choices they make, and our staff will take part in holding them accountable as well. As you will see, the transformation of your loved one will be nothing less than miraculous.

Internship Programs For Young Adults From Missouri

At The Crossroads, we know that our students must have confidence restored. We have seen that in order for struggling young men and women from Missouri to emerge from their present existence, they must be empowered and built up. One of the primary objectives of our staff is to instill a feeling within our residents that they "have what it takes." At the same time, in order for struggling young adults to actually succeed on a more permanent level, the student must do the work for themselves. This understanding of what causes young adults to experience “failure to launch” is what sets ATC apart from other internship programs and employment training for young adults.

A core element of our “Pathways” curriculum requires a commitment of t least nine months in order to fully complete. A primary Life Coach/Mentor will be assigned to each student upon enrolling in the ATC program. This professional will be responsible for the monitoring each resident as the student progresses through the pathways program. The Program Director of ATC will serve as a liaison between the student's families and the staff members. The director will provide residents with suitable opportunities for the development of their training, their daily living skills, their personal growth, and overall success in the ATC program.

Some parental advice for understanding your young adult child..

Families who offer kids more structure are more likely to keep kids attending to their homework as well as out of trouble. Dinner transforms individual family members into a "group," which gives parents more clout to rival the power of the peer group.

For parents who have argued with their teens about piercings, you must decide whether supporting this or attempting to forbid it will be in your child’s best interests. If your teen wants to get a piercing and is so adamant that he/she is just going to get it done anyway, for safety’s sake parents should find out where to get a piercing safely.
