Young adults enrolled at ATC have several educational and vocational options available to them, including high school, university, and trade/vocational schools.

Dixie State University

The Dixie State Trailblazers are 15 varsity athletic teams that represent Dixie State University, located in St. George, Utah, in NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports.

Southwest Adult High School

Courses range from basic literacy to college courses for concurrent college credit and high school completion. Individual tutoring, self-paced courses, and independent study available.

  • Assist adults with completion of High School diploma; basic literacy and reading; GED preparation; English as a Second Language (ESL); Adult Basic Education; Vocational Training
  • Eligibility: Student’s high school graduating class must have already graduated. Usually over 18 years old.
  • Fees: High school completion: no tuition
  • College courses: participant must pay tuition, fees and books.
  • GED cost $55.00

Dixie Technical College

Dixie Technical College is one of eight fully accredited technical colleges in the Utah System of Technical Colleges. The entire campus offers students an opportunity to take off into a better or new career.

Prepare for Sustained Success

While at ATC, the clients will continue on their personal journey by exploring and pursuing their unique educational and vocational needs and goals. Clients work with their staff colleagues who assist with scheduling, accountability, attendance, resume building, skills training and private tutoring (as needed).

While enrolled at ATC, clients are able to complete their high school diploma, GED, or attend college or vocational school. Clients that need to complete his or her high school education have several options in the St. George area. Most commonly, clients attend Southwest Adult High School, located just a few blocks from the ATC clubhouse. Other options include distance learning or traditional high school. There are also a number of continuing education options including Dixie State University for a traditional college experience as well as a number of vocational schooling options.

For clients that have completed their educational goals or may not be interested in college or vocational training, colleagues work with a network of professionals in the community on job placement and/or internships. One of the benefits of St. George is that it offers the resources of a metropolitan city while also being small enough to allow for an intimate community business network for our clients depending on their career interests.
